Samsung’s CEO recently said that the company’s next “mirrorless” camera would be based on Android, but it was not sure that will it actually be with interchangeable NX lense mirrorless camera or will it simply be point and shoot. Now it turns out that its the previous one.
Photographs of the camera are already leaked on the web, which confirms that Samsung will be launching this Android power mirrorless camera soon.
Some Silent Features
Rumors are that the camera has an Exynos 4 Quad-Core processor, a 2 GB RAM and an on board storage of 16 GB. Galaxy NX is clearly a product of a professional class. It has got a good big grippy body with a large rear display, interchangeable lenses with a viewfinder, it also has a 20.3-megapixel camera having an APS-C sensor, 1080p video recording support with a max ISO of 25,600. the goos thing about the camera is that ir will be available with dual-core or quad-core Exynos CPU. The touchscreen is 4.3-inch with a very high resolution.
If you already have a set of NX lenses, you can still use them with Galaxy NX without any problems. You will also enjoy wireless connectivity and Android apps joined with an NX lens mount and a large sensor.
Samsung Galaxy NX is rumored to be priced around €1,000, or around $1,300. However the official announcement will come on 20th June a few days from today at a Samsung launch event in London.
